About

Dr. Jan Patterson, M.D., DABFM, CFCMC, FCP

is a board certified family physician with an area of concentration in women’s health and fertility. She is trained in  NaProTECHNOLOGY™, a breakthrough women's health science that works to monitor and maintain a woman's reproductive and gynecological health. She offers life affirming general gynecology, and NaProTECHNOLOGY™ medical consultations.

About the Practice

Gianna of Albany is pleased to be the first practice within a 2 hour radius able to offer NaProTECHNOLOGY™ and FEMM, exciting breakthroughs in women's health and fertility.  These breakthroughs are designed to find the root causes of your reproductive health issues and allow you and Dr. Patterson work together to craft a plan for your health and fertility that is unique to you and to your body. You and your input become an integral part of your care.  This will require visits that are significantly longer than those in traditional practices.  In order to provide this kind of intensive, personalized care, Dr. Patterson has simplified basic office tasks.  As a patient you can see your test results, pay your bills, send secure messages to the office, and receive secure messages from Dr. Patterson.  The websites that allow this to happen can be found on the Patient Portal tab, or by clicking here.

Gianna of Albany is founded on the premise that each person is a precious and unique gift from God.   It is committed to delivering excellent health care through medical and lifestyle interventions  that are consistent with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Healthcare Services (ERD).   This kind of care is delivered with a deep commitment to honoring your dignity and treating you with the respect that you deserve.

About Gianna

Gianna of Albany is a member of a network of Gianna clinics offering life-affirming women's restorative reproductive health alternatives for the women of the Northeast and beyond.  For more information click here.

The Gianna centers are named after Gianna Beretta Molla, an Italian pediatrician from the 20th century who courageously decided to continue her pregnancy when she found that she had a uterine tumor.   She delivered a healthy baby girl, also named Gianna, but died tragically 8 days later.
